In a frying pan, heat up a little of oil, a fry the onions until golden brown.
In a large bowl, place the meat, dried lime powder, cloves, allspice, salt, pepper, and the onion. Mix until well blended.
Make from this mixture, walnut size balls.
Fry then on hot oil until browned all sides.
Stir in the tomato paste, the apricots and the raisins, cover with water.
Simmer for around 25 minutes.
Crush the apricots a little with a fork, add the lemon juice, sugar and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Let it simmer for 20 minutes more.
Serve over rice.
