Preparation:

Sift the spices and the baking soda in a bowl. Mix the butter with both types of sugar in a bowl and mix until well combined.

Add the spices and the egg. Add the lemon zest, molasses, cream and finally the flour.

Mix well, make a flat disc or a log, wrap with kitchen foil and keep in the fridge overnight.

Take out the dough and roll out in a floured surface. Cut the cookies out with your favorite shapes.

Bake on a previously pre-heated oven at 180°C for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
