Ingredients:

Preparation:

In a large bowl, sift the flour along with the sugar, yeast, salt and cardamom.

Add the eggs and mix until combined.

Mix the butter with the milk and the honey, add this preparation, little by little until getting a soft and uniform dough (it's not sticky).

Cover with kitchen foil and a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for 3 hours.

Divide the dough in 9 equal size balls and form with help of a knife (sinterklaas or Zwarte Piet figures).

Decorate with the raisins and almonds, lay in a lined baking tray and let it rise covered, in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Make an eggwash with 2 egg yolk, 1 tbs milk and 1 tbs honing. Brush the breads with it.

Bake in a previously pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
